Back from the first scout – not quite as planned

Unfortunately, things didn’t go entirely as expected. We had both the weather working against us, and I forgot to bring the right lens. But...wow! The location is absolutely stunning. We'll be heading back very soon and hoping for more (and better) shots.

That said, we now have a solid sense of the area, and we’ll continue scouting the remaining locations in the near future. This time we only managed a few images, but next trip will be longer, more focused, and a whole lot better.

Below are a few selected shots from the area—and a couple from the journey back.

A glimpse into the forest. The atmosphere here is absolutely perfect for Stygian – haunting, quiet, and endless.

The bridge our protagonist will cross. One can’t help but wonder what awaits on the other side... (my daughter clearly does too 😄)

A secluded lake, quietly watching from behind the trees. Still... but never silent.

On the way home, somewhere outside Stockholm, just after dusk.

My little brother – helping with logistics and boom operation. Always down to scout, rain or shine.
