About us

Godhouse is a small collective of horror connoisseurs, aspiring filmmakers, and creatives based in Sweden & USA. Founded by Alexander Granström and joined by two brothers and a close friend, we’ve come together with a shared vision: to create uncompromising, atmospheric horror—starting with our debut film Stygian.

While Stygian is our first production, the ambition behind it is anything but small. Our goal is to craft stories that stay with the audience long after the credits roll—films rooted in tension, myth, and psychological depth.

We believe horror should challenge, disturb, and immerse. Godhouse exists to bring that kind of storytelling to life—one project at a time.

Brings both vocal performance and narrative insight to the project, contributing to the pitch narration and early-stage development.

Responsible for sourcing the film’s props. Ensures every on-screen item fits the mood, period, and narrative — from ritualistic elements to subtle background details that build authenticity.

Assists with transport and setup of gear, while also handling location sound recording during production.

Oversees all creative and technical aspects of the production — from script and score to cinematography, lighting, and editing.
